Brandeberry Wines Receive Medals!

Brandeberry Winery is pleased to announce that three of our wines were awarded medals at the 2010 Ohio Commercial Wine Competition conducted by Ohio Agriculture Research Center (OARDC) in Wooster, Ohio. Our popular Blackberry wine received a Silver Medal. Our Syrah and Sweet Riesling wines both received Bronze Medals. We still have some of our Chardonnay which won the Bronze Medal in the 2009 OARDC competition. Be sure to stop in a pick up one of these award winning wines!

Interested in Hosting a Private Party at the Winery?

Our petition to allow Sunday sales of wine at the Brandeberry Winery was approved in the May 4 election and we now have a Sunday sales license. If you are interested in hosting a private party at the winery, we now can host it on Sunday or at other times when we are not open. The cost for the rental is $50 per hour with a two hour minimum. We must provide all beverages used for the event and the only alcoholic beverages permitted by law are our wines. The other details will be will be arranged, when you schedule the event.

In The Cellar...

Come taste the new releases of this year's Cherry and Mad River Red wines. The taste is different from last year and most of our customers like them better.

We are ready to bottle Mad River White which also promises to be better than last year's vintage. The new Mad River White should be available by the end of July. The Riesling is currently being cold stablized so it will also be bottled this summer.

Blackberry, Cherry, Cayuga, and Vidal are busily fermenting in order to ensure availability of our most popular wines (Blackberry, Pink Passion, Cherry Truffle, and Vidal Blanc) throughout the summer..

We are also fermenting two new wines which will be released this fall. They are Traminette and Cranberry. The Lake Erie Cabernet Sauvignon is aging nicely and will be ready in November or December.
